UK CROSS TRAINING ASSOCIATION Competition Calendar 2009 This page is open to all organisers of cross training events and X-Fit events who wish to have their events promoted to the cross training community. We reserve the right to vet these events and will only promote those that we feel are run by good organisers and are well-balanced, non-injurious, not only in the events, but also in the training preparations necessary for them. This judgement is made by a panel of selected, qualified fitness professionals. We do this in order to drive up the standards of organisers putting on competitions and to help competitors make more informed choices as to which of the many events are right for them to do over the year. If you feel that your event might qualify and you agree with the need for a form of quality control for cross training events, please contact us with details. Email jacqui@ukxta.co.uk 5 Star Award Scheme - Here you will find details of the scheme and how it can help you decide if you want to attend an event Event ratings - Here you will find a list of events and how they score under the new scheme Majors Page - This now includes details of the Ironman series and UKXTA exercise rules and limits for 2010 and beyond UKXTA Competition exercise rules - From 2010 all cross training exercises in UKXTA approved competitions must abide by the set of rules set out here that have been arrived at by a panel of experienced judges consisting of Organisers of events and members of the Competitors association. 2009 Calendar
